John Mayer is one of those guys that just gets what he wants. Things just seem to fall in to place for him. He’s had some of the hottest celebrities (Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, Minka Kelly, Jennifer Aniston). And now, it seems he wants America’s Sweetheart, Taylor Swift. What John wants, John gets!

John Mayer and Taylor Swift had been rumored to be dating earlier this year. Now, sources tell Star Magazine that they’re still involved and hook up whenever they can:

Friends say that Taylor Swift is still having a love affair with notorious ladies’ man John Mayer – and they fear she’s bound to get hurt! And so will her “legit” love, Glee star Cory Monteith, who has no clue that Taylor has been flirting with John for months.

“Taylor will drop anything to see him,” says a source. “They’ve been meeting up all over the country!”

“Sometimes they meet in Hollywood or Beverly Hills… Taylor doesn’t like going to his house in LA. He always has his buddie staying with him and there’s no privacy.” (continue reading…)

John Mayer has been in hot water since the release of his recent Playboy interview where he mentions the “N-word” slur. His off-hand comments featuring the slur and his joke about how his penis does not find black women attractive has not exactly endeared John to the black community this week.

Actress Holly Robinson Peete was named in his Playboy interview as one of the black women he found “gorgeous”. Peete told PEOPLE that she was initially flattered by his comment, but after reading his surrounding comments “it went from a compliment to being an insult.”

I was disgusted and offended. Especially when I started reading his surrounding comments. In the whole body of the article, there wasn’t anything that wasn’t offensive. … It was beyond inappropriate. It’s crucial for African American women to understand that I would never knowingly gush about such a compliment had I had any clue that it was bookended by these racially denigrating comments about black women. I feel disgusted by it. I went from flattered to flat-out pissed.

Mayer apologized on stage in Nashville on Wednesday (watch it in the video below).

He has also apologized on his Twitter page:

Re: using the ‘N word’ in an interview: I am sorry that I used the word. And it’s such a shame that I did because the point I was trying to make was in the exact opposite spirit of the word itself. It was arrogant of me to think I could intellectualize using it, because I realize that there’s no intellectualizing a word that is so emotionally charged.

And while I’m using today for looking at myself under harsh light, I think it’s time to stop trying to be so raw in interviews… It started as an attempt to not let the waves of criticism get to me, but it’s gotten out of hand and I’ve created somewhat of a monster. I wanted to be a blues guitar player. And a singer. And a songwriter. Not a shock jock. I don’t have the stomach for it. Again, because I don’t want anyone to think I’m equivocating: I should have never said the word and I will never say it again.

He ended with this, “They don’t make rehab centers for being an a-hole.”

Could it be? Gossip websites are buzzing about the latest rumored couple: John Mayer and Taylor Swift. Hollywood Life quotes a source close to Swift as saying, “Taylor and John are absolutely more than ‘just friends.’” The two were spotted dining together in Nashville on January 24th and according to In Touch, John, 32, and Taylor, 20, allegedly spent the night together in his hotel suite.

They also report that when a friend asked John about how his night with Taylor went, he laughed and said, “How do you think it went?”

John has sampled some of the hottest including: Jennifer Love Hewitt, Jessica Simpson, Heidi Klum, Minka Kelly, Vanessa Carlton and Jennifer Aniston.

Who would’ve thought? Jessica Simpson has been dating Billy Corgan, singer/guitarist of rock band Smashing Pumpkins have been dating recently and Jessica has tweeted/gushed about what a great boyfriend he is lately via her Twitter page.  She posted this pic of them in the studio.

I don’t know anyone who could’ve predicted this relationship.  But if it brings them happiness, best of luck kids.

Even stranger, they’re collaborating musically at the moment.  This, I can’t wait to hear.

Billy is one of the voices of Alternative Rock of the 1990′s and continues to record and tour with his band Smashing Pumpkins.

Jessica is a sometimes Pop music artist and successful movie actress and spokeswoman.  She has been romantically linked with the following celebrities: Dallas Cowboy quarterback Tony Romo, musician John Mayer, professional Jackass Bam Margera, comedian Dane Cook and was married to Pop artist Nick Lachey from 2002 until 2006.

According to Star Magazine, actress Jennifer Love Hewitt and comedian/actor Jamie Kennedy are planning a Spring wedding. The two were spotted recently in his hometown of Philadelphia, shopping for engagement rings and spending time with his family.

Hewitt has previously dated musician John Mayer.
