Lady Gaga’s ex-boyfriend/former producer has sued her for $30 million. He claims he was instrumental to her success, but was cut out of the picture when their relationship turned into, wait for it, a bad romance.

Reuters reports that Rob Fusari is suing Gaga (real name: Stefani Germanotta) claiming he was cut out of her record deal, was shortchanged on producer fees and is due to be paid royalties from her massive record sales.

His lawsuit even claims that he accidentally created the moniker “Lady Gaga” while texting her.

“One day when Fusari addressed a cell phone text to Germanotta under the moniker “Radio Ga Ga” his cell phone’s spell check converted “Radio” to “Lady.” Germanotta loved it and “Lady Gaga” was born.”

But in a recent interview she says, “I, for myself, make the choice to be single at this point in my life because I don’t have the time to get to know anybody. And you know what? It’s OK. Even Lady Gaga can be celibate.”

She tells the U.K.’s Metro Newspaper that she recommends waiting to know your parter before going all the way.

“If you can’t get to know somebody, you shouldn’t be having sex with them,” she insisted. “It’s OK at this point, in this day and age, we have grown up and we now know that we can’t be that free with your love.”

She also encouraged women to get tested regularly for HIV and Aids as part of the MAC Viva Glam From Our Lips campaign.

“You have to be safe, so get checked. You are not invincible,” she said.

Lady Gaga has been spotted recently with her boyfriend, Matthew Williams (an art director with her production company) and his infant son, Cairo.

Williams previously dated Lady Gaga, but ended up with starting a family with fashion stylist Erin Hirsh. Star Magazine claims he “coldly dumped” her to be with Gaga.

When Cairo was just 2 months old, Matt left Erin and the baby behind to join Gaga on her international tour — and that was the beginning of the end of his family life. Soon after he called Erin to tell her he wouldn’t be coming home. While Matt didn’t say his decision was because he had rekindled his romance with the disco goddess. Soon after, photos surfaced of Gaga and Matthew kissing passionately during a night out in London.

“Erin saw the pictures and realized what was going down,” says the friend. “Even though Matt had told her in so many words that they were through, actually seeing Gaga getting it on with the father of her child was absolutely devastating to her.”

Sure, we’ve seen Lady Gaga everywhere lately, but up until now we’ve had no idea who she’s hooking up with.

But now an insider close to Ms. Gaga have told In Touch that her boyfriend is her longtime friend and style collaborator, Matthew Williams.

The two had been on and off together for more than a year, but cooled the relationship when mixing their personal and professional lives became too difficult.
