Lindsay Lohan was sentenced to 90 days in jail today for her violation of probation. She was arrested in 2007 for DUI and her failure to comply with the terms of probation have landed behind bars for 90 days, followed immediately by a 90 day in-patient rehab stay.

Lindsay refused to show up at several of her court-mandated alcohol education classes and was not only late to some of her court dates, she completely missed some dates.

She has recently been linked with both male and female lovers by the tabloids.

In the past, Lindsay has hooked up with Jared Leto, Colin Farrell, Wilmer Valderrama and Criss Angel among others.

Lindsay Lohan has been partying hard for years now, but those close to her say it’s been getting worse lately.  From TMZ:

A professional who is extremely close to Lindsay confided in TMZ, “If she doesn’t get help soon, she’s going to die.” People who have been trying to help Lindsay over the last year — both professionally and personally — feel something terrible will happen unless she immediately gets help for substance abuse. We are not talking about Michael or Dina Lohan. These are people who have quietly been trying to convince Lindsay to go to rehab again.

Lindsay Lohan is horrified at the prospect of a sex tape possibly surfacing.  A 47-second clip of the video of the naughty video is currently being shopped around L.A. for a potential buyer.  It’s rumored that the rights to sell the video has been offered to Hustler magazine and others.

“The video film is dynamite. It is pretty seedy and shows Lindsay engaged in a particular sex act, which, obviously, should remain behind closed doors,” a source told the British tabloid Daily Mirror.

Lohan has seemed to be trying to clean up her image lately, but this certainly won’t help that effort.  Lindsay, 23, was a popular child star who first hit our radar at the age of 12 in 1998′s The Parent Trap.  Since then she has gone on to star in movies like Freaky Friday, Herbie: Fully Loaded and Mean Girls.  In the last few years though, it seems her star power has diminished as she just doesn’t seem to land the major roles.

Lindsay has been a tabloid favorite though for her constant presence on the Hollywood party scene and providing lots of public drama with ex-girlfriend DJ Samantha Ronson.  She has also been linked in the past with the following celebrities:  actor Wilmer Valderrama, actor Benicio Del Toro, musician/actor Jared Leto, musician Ryan Adams, musician James Blunt and actor James Franco, among others.
