Hot pop star Katy Perry and nasty comedian Russell Brand got engaged on New Years Eve during a vacation in India. Brand sent a text message to The Sun’s Gordon Smart confirming the details of an Indian spiritual ceremony the two had in India during vacation and that he popped the question during the first moments of 2010. The odd couple only met less than 4 months ago and have had what could be described as a whirlwind romance. Who could’ve predicted this one?

Ms. Perry was also romantically involved with Travis McCoy, vocalist for the band “Gym Class Heroes”.
